IPC at the FAO Global Conference for Actions on One Health in Agrifood Systems

🌍 IPC at the FAO Global Conference for Actions on One Health in Agrifood Systems

Next week, Nicolò Cinotti, Secretary General of the IPC, will participate in the FAO Global Conference for Actions on One Health in Agrifood Systems, taking place from 21–23 September at FAO Headquarters in Rome.

The conference will bring together global leaders, technical experts, partners and stakeholders to advance the practical application of the One Health approach across agrifood systems.
For the global poultry sector, One Health is closely connected to the everyday priorities of the industry: animal health and welfare, food safety, antimicrobial resistance, biosecurity, surveillance and the resilience of agrifood systems.

IPC is committed to contributing the poultry sector’s perspective to this global dialogue and to supporting stronger collaboration across sectors and disciplines.
As challenges become increasingly interconnected, effective solutions require science-based approaches, coordinated action and shared responsibility.

We look forward to contributing to the discussions in Rome and to connecting with partners working to turn One Health principles into practical action.
