WOAH’s Global Conference on Biological Threat Reduction

WOAH's Global Conference on Biological Threat Reduction (Geneva, 28-30 October 2025)

IPC’s Secretary General Nicolò Cinotti joins the Global Conference on Biological Threat Reduction (Geneva, 28-30 October 2025) organised by World Organisation for Animal Health.

At a time when animal health, human health and global security are more connected than ever, IPC is honoured to bring the voice of the global poultry sector to the table.
IPC represents over 75% of the world’s poultry meat production and nearly 90% of global poultry trade, making our participation especially timely.

In his keynote, Nicolò will explore how the poultry sector can contribute concretely to biological threat reduction through strengthened biosafety and surveillance in poultry production and trade.

This conference brings together leaders from animal health, public health, security, technology and industry, all working to deepen multi-sector collaboration and drive action to reduce biological risks.
IPC is pleased to join this critical conversation.

We look forward to engaging with partners, sharing insights and building the next wave of collective action for a safer, healthier and more resilient world.
