Poultry consumption trends from IPSOS UK, poultry shipping and what the industry can learn from other food producing sectors.
Today started with a session on poultry consumption and its trends presented by Ipsos in the UK Senior Consumer Insight Nick Chiarelli.
Followed by a keynote discussion between Tawfik ELACHCHABI, Director of the Production Chain Development at the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture and Thanawat Tiensin, Director of the Animal Production and Health (NSA) Division at FAO.
We then moved the conversation to shipping, with a presentation on the key supply chain challenges, shared by Haden Slain, Owner and President of Poseidon Forwarding Company, Inc.
Finally James Reed, Co-Founder of One Million Avocados, gave a presentation on what other food producing sectors are doing and what poultry can learn from them.
We celebrated the second successful day of the event with a dinner sponsored by FISA MAROC to celebrate 20 years of the International Poultry Council.
