Tackling High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI) Together

The International Poultry Council President, Ricardo Santin and Secretary General, Nicolò Cinotti, will be joining the upcoming FAO Global Dialogue on HPAI, a critical platform for science, policy, and private sector collaboration.

HPAI remains one of the most pressing challenges for animal health, food security, economies, biodiversity, and public health.
Coordinated global action, grounded in science and supported by both public and private sector investment, is essential.

During the meeting, participants will explore the newly launched 2024–2033 Global Strategy for the Prevention and Control of HPAI under the FAO-WOAH GF-TADs framework. This strategy aims to strengthen national and regional action plans while mitigating transboundary and pandemic risks.

Together, we can strengthen global efforts to combat HPAI and safeguard the future of poultry production worldwide.
