🖊️ On August 18, 2019, the International Poultry Council signed the joint Poultry Meat Sector Declaration on Sustainable Development alongside the FAO, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
🐔 🦆 🦃 The poultry meat sector, which provides nearly 40% of the world’s meat, plays a vital role in ensuring food security, livelihoods, and sustainability.
By signing the Poultry Meat Sector Declaration on Sustainable Development, we collectively commit to:

🔹Enhancing food security, nutrition, and rural livelihoods.
🔹Reducing waste, losses, and greenhouse gas emissions.
