IPC WELCOMES NOVATECH

The US based Company to become IPC Associate Member

 

IPC is proud to announce that Novatech officially joins the Association.

Nova-Tech Engineering was established in 1992 stemming from a need in the poultry industry to find a way to improve efficiencies in the hatcheries and later to the farm. The equipment Novatech produces, aiming at changing the way the poultry industry interacts with automation while enhancing animal welfare, is is currently found in 58 different countries throughout the world, with everything being designed and manufactured on-site in Minnesota.

Novatech joining IPC highlights one more time the global role of the Association in reppresenting the whole poultry meat value chain. “We are very happy to welcome Novatech in IPC” says Robin Horel, newly reelected President of the IPC, “since it reppresents a highly important link in the poultry value chain, being our sector probably the most tecnologically advanced amongst the livestock sectors. We are sure that our new Associate Member will bring enthusiasm and fundamental inputs with their tecnological know-how for IPC activities and a decisive contribution to advance our industry and positioning it on a global level “.

About the International Poultry Council

Founded on October 7, 2005, the International Poultry Council (IPC) is the global poultry meat producers Association. IPC’s mission is to strengthen communications between countries, to develop and implement policy for international organizations affecting the world’s poultry industry, and to promote a common understanding of and confidence in poultry products in the world. IPC currently has 31 Country Members and 55 Associate Members, representing 88 percent of the global poultry meat production and almost 95 percent of the global poultry meat trade. International Organizations such as OIE, FAO and Codex Alimentarius Commission officially recognize IPC as the global Association representing the poultry meat sector.
