Last week at Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo, IPC's Secretary General Nicolò Cinotti spoke about the role of Africa in the poultry market.
Global poultry meat consumption is projected to grow 16% by 2033, with the most significant growth in import demand originating from Africa.
Therefore, Africa has a key role to play, particularly in the global trade scenario, with the potential to become a hub for poultry meat trade, thanks to its geography, growing population and poultry demand.
This change will come with challenges but also with lessons learned from the same growth experience elsewhere, shared thanks to international cooperation and public-private partnerships.
